You will be responsible for leading, supervising, and guiding other members of the team, and ensuring medical instructions and procedures are correctly administered, documented, and monitored. Each day you will be providing a proactive and person-centric service by communicating with residents and family and participating in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

- NZQA level 7 (e.g. bachelor's degree, graduate certificate, graduate diploma)
- A current practicing certificate
- Flexibility to pick up different shifts
- Aged care experience or similar is a must
- Team leadership skills
- Honesty and integrity
- Good customer service
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and problem solving skills
- Alignment with our values and purpose
- Experience in Palliative Care, Dementia, and InterRAI is preferred but not essential
The job:
- Fixed Term contract ending June 2027
- Minimum of 46 hrs per fortnight

This is a busy and diverse role, assisting the Property Manager with day-to-day garden maintenance activities. Therefore, you will need to be organised and efficient, while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in service.
This is a permanent position, working 32 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
You’ll bring your love and deep knowledge of gardening along with some proven experience to our team. You’ll have a genuine passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces and have a warm, friendly personality always happy to chat with our residents

About the role
Ward BG (Older Person Mental Health), is a 20-bed assessment, treatment and rehabilitation ward with an organic psychiatric focus. The team provides comprehensive assessment of the mental and physical health of older people, whilst aiming to optimise the patient’s level of functioning, offering specialist treatment, care, support and education.
An opportunity has become available for a Registered Nurse to join the team at the Burwood Hospital. A rewarding role, working with consumers experiencing progressive dementia, acute delirium, as well as depression, anxiety, paranoia and general behavioural problems associated with altered cognition.
About you
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 2 – 4 years’ experience as a registered nurse preferably in Specialist Mental Health Services
- Hold registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand, with mental health scope and current APC
- Be a confident practitioner with good patient assessment skills
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a wide variety of people
- Experience working in Mental Health

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

About You

- This is a relatively new role for the South Island Eating Disorders (SIEDS) which is aimed to improve the experience for young tangata whai ora (up to the age of 25 years) and their families and whanau on their treatment journey through our service.
- The role will act as a bridge between clinicians and tangata whaiora to improve communication and clinical outcomes. Pathways to care and access to care for tangata whai ora will improve, and this will have a beneficial effect on their experience while they are in the service.
- The lived experience voice and perspective have an important role to play in the treatment and recovery for people who have an eating disorder. - Comfortable suggesting improvements to standardised processes to help save time and use resources more efficiently.
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Highly organised and able to pick up and effectively manage multiple tasks at short notice.
- Ability to learn and adapt to existing and new software systems, including AI assistance tools
- Be honest, punctual and reliable.

As a Diversional Therapist at our Rototuna village, you’ll be empowered to create a recreational programme for seniors living in a care supportive environment. - A full, clean driver’s licence & ability to drive a Mobility Van.
