We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Property Assistant to join our friendly team at Summerset Manukau village. In this full-time role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining the high standards Summerset takes pride in – helping to keep our village safe, beautiful, and running smoothly.
You’ll work closely with the Property Manager and Head Gardener to support a wide range of maintenance and gardening tasks across the village. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and the satisfaction of a job well done.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with general property and garden maintenance
- Helping with building maintenance and refurbishments
- Assisting with landscaping, gardening, and ground care tasks
- Taking part in property inspections and reporting safety or maintenance issues
- Communicating clearly and respectfully with residents, team members, and contractors
This full-time position is based in our Manukau village, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. From April 2027, your time will be split between our Manukau and our new Half Moon Bay village, with 3 days per week based in Half Moon Bay and 2 days in Manukau.
We’re looking for someone practical, approachable and dependable, with the ability to take initiative and complete a variety of tasks efficiently. This role would suit someone looking to shift into a stable role, that takes pride in their work and surroundings. Someone who likes to engage with people in the village and their home and create a people-first environment.
You’ll be successful in this role if you have:
- Experience in property maintenance and gardening
- Strong DIY or trade skills – part trade qualified preferred
- A current driver’s licence
- The ability to work independently and take pride in your work
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer literacy skills

About the Role
As our Onsite Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high‑quality, people‑first technology experience across our Wellington Head Office and wider Wellington region.
Sitting within our Digital Service Experience team, this is a highly visible, hands‑on role where you’ll provide frontline technology support through our Tech Bar and onsite services. You’ll be the go‑to person for day‑to‑day workplace technology needs, ensuring our people are supported, connected and productive.
Working closely with the Service Desk, Digital teams, business stakeholders and external partners, you’ll support everything from new starter setups and meeting room technology through to village go‑lives and office fit‑outs.
Your Day‑to‑Day Will Include:
- Providing walk‑up and onsite support across Head Office and regional sites
- Logging, managing and resolving incidents and service requests through the IT Service Desk platform, including triage and escalation where required
- Supporting workplace technology including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, AV and meeting room technology
- Monitoring and proactively maintaining meeting room and collaboration technology, including Microsoft Teams Rooms
- Preparing, provisioning and deploying devices for new starters and managing technology offboarding
- Maintaining accurate asset registers, inventories and device records
- Supporting technology readiness for new villages, care centres and offices, including on‑site support during go‑lives
- Working with project teams to ensure technology solutions are implemented smoothly and reliably
- Creating and contributing to knowledge articles, self‑service resources and continuous improvement initiatives
- Providing friendly, professional and solutions‑focused customer service at all times
About You
You’re a customer‑focused technology support professional who enjoys being hands‑on and visible. You’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities, communicating clearly with a wide range of stakeholders, and resolving issues with a calm, practical approach.

We're looking for a Food Systems Database Administrator to support the implementation of our new electronic menu management system. This is a unique opportunity for a systems-savvy Dietitian, Nutritionist, Food Service professional or Database Administrator who enjoys working with data, solving problems and ensuring information is accurate, reliable and fit for purpose. You'll play a key role in supporting the successful rollout of the CBORD menu management system project across our villages.
This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity, with flexibility to consider part-time arrangements for the right candidate. Auckland-based candidates are strongly preferred.

What you'll be doing
- Enter, maintain and validate food, menu and nutrition data in the CBORD system.
- Manage 2,000+ food items and product records.
- Review nutrition, allergen, diet code and serving size information for accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve missing, duplicate or incorrect data.
- Work with suppliers, Dietitians and operational teams to verify information.
- Support textured modified menus, including soft and bite-sized diets.
- Assist with system testing, user guides and implementation readiness.

We’re looking for two Interior Fit Out Team Members to support the setup of furniture and fittings of our beautiful Summerset care centre and facilities building in Summerset Prebbleton.
This is a full-time, 40-hour per week role for a 2-week assignment starting on 12 October 2026.
We also have another full-time 2-week assignment starting on 30 November 2026.
This position is focused on the placement and setup of Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) rather than construction or interior building work. You’ll play an important hands-on role in bringing the village spaces to life ahead of opening.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting the team with the interior fit-out of resident and communal spaces
- Receiving and checking deliveries against order lists and schedules
- Unpacking and placing FF&E items in line with floor plans and placement guides
- Liaising with suppliers during deliveries to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Photographing items and recording any damages or discrepancies
You’ll be someone who enjoys staying active and takes pride in keeping things organised and running smoothly. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, you’ll bring a strong awareness of health and safety while confidently communicating with others on site.
