The Position

Skilled Medical are currently recruiting Medical Registrars for the largest hospital in the Northland region. Rotations in the following specialties:

General Medicine

Cardiology

Geriatric and Stroke

Haematology

Oncology

Renal

Acute Care of Elderly

Health Service

Whangārei is the largest hospital in Northland, providing secondary care services for the region, supported by four regional hospitals. Due to the population make up and the unselected nature of our admissions, Registrars gain experience managing a wide variety of conditions including rarer conditions such as rheumatic fever, tuberculosis and meningococcal disease.

The Location

The Northland region is renowned for its beautiful beaches and relaxed lifestyle.

Essential Criteria

Doctors will need to have their MCNZ registration or be eligible to apply for registration via The Competent Authority Pathway.
